It would behove me to start this with a disclaimer or two: for one this is ADnD 1st edition, Daniel will prove you wrong if you think ADnD 1e is bad and two I am 2 weeks and 2 live sessions deep. Actual fresh meat.
For a long time Dungeons & Dragons has been a mystical thing to me. I didn't know how it works or what gameplay looked like. It was just a meme that people with thicker glasses than me play it.
That said, all I have to do to play is state what I want my character to do and sometime roll dice for randome numbers. Haha a deceptively simple explanation of the game!
Then I lie at the mercy of our omniscient and benevolent DM who adjudicates my actions. Daniel has been the best DM I have ever had so far. Get it? No really though, he spends a lot of time and energy world building for us and even has custom software. (its multi-platform too...ooooo ahhhh)
